Heavy snow has prompted Marshall County officials to implement an Advisory Level travel advisory through Monday, January 24.
An Advisory Level travel advisory is the lowest level of local travel advisory, and means that routine travel or activities may be restricted in areas because of a hazardous situation, and individuals should use caution or avoid those areas.
Snow accumulations of up to six inches are forecast Sunday and with additional snowfall Sunday night.
Drivers should slow down, increase following distance between vehicles, avoid using cruise control, and avoid rapid braking.
Marshall County Highway Department crews are out treating main roads.
