Unemployment rates are continuing to drop in the tri-county area.
Marshall County’s rate in November was 1.6 percent compared to 2.0 percent in October, Starke County’s unemployment rate was 2.4 percent in November compared to 2.9 percent in October, and Pulaski County’s unemployment rate was 1.8 percent in November compared to 2.1 percent in October.
Those figures are fairing better than the non-seasonally adjusted rate at 4.2 percent in the U.S. in October.
Indiana’s non-seasonally adjusted rate was 2.1 percent in November.
More people are employed as Marshall County, Starke County and Pulaski Counties saw an increase in residents working.
