The Plymouth School Board members congratulated an administrator last week after he received a distinguished honor, according to Superintendent Mitch Mawhorter.
“Ryan Welch recently was awarded the Assistant Principal of the Year for the State of Indiana! We are really excited about that,” said Mawhorter.
The Riverside Intermediate School Principal was also named District Assistant Principal of District 2 which includes Elkhart, Fulton, Kosciusko, La Porte, Marshall, Pulaski, St. Joseph and Starke Counties. The winner of the district award is elected by his or her peers.
Welch was honored Sunday, November 21 during the 2021 Assistant Principals of the Year Recognition Celebration, which is a part of the Indiana Association of School Principal’s annual Fall Professional’s Conference.
