Another 5,315 people in the state have tested positive with COVID-19, including 44 people in Marshall County, 26 people in Starke County and 17 people in Pulaski County.
An additional 43 people in the state have died of COVID-19 from November 13 to December 9, which brings the total number of Hoosiers who have died of COVID-19 to 17,400.
The number of people in hospitals around the state with COVID-19 symptoms is now up to 2,865 as of December 9, as shown on the state’s coronavirus website. That is 457 more people than a week ago.
