Marshall County Health Department officials encourage residents to take steps to help slow the spread of COVID-19.
The county has seen an increase in positive COVID-19 cases, as much as 20 percent within a seven-day period as reported by the Indiana Department of Health.
Community members should consider social distancing when in public, cover faces when out in public, wash hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer if hand washing is not immediately available, stay home if sick, and clean and disinfect frequently-touched objects and surfaces.
The Marshall County Health Department will provide updates as changes occur.
