Marshall, Starke and Pulaski Counties remain in the orange status on the Indiana Department of Health’s updated County Metrics Map. The orange status indicates a high spread of COVID-19.
There are 17 counties in the state in the red status this week while seven counties are in the yellow status. The rest of the counties are in the orange status.
There were 6,164 new cases of COVID-19 in the state from November 29 to November 30 in Wednesday’s report from the Indiana Department of Health. There were 70 new cases in Marshall County, 25 new cases in Starke County and 11 new cases in Pulaski County.
Another 63 people in the state have died of COVID-19 from October 26 to November 30, including one person in Starke County and one person in Pulaski County.
In the updated long-term care facility report, there were 564 new resident cases of COVID-19 in the state from May 29, 2020 to November 29, 2021 and 55 newly reported resident deaths from November 6 to November 30.
