Residents may dispose of their unwanted, unused or expired medications in a medication disposal drop box at the Bourbon Police Department.
The drop box was made available to the Bourbon Police Department thanks to CVS Pharmacy and the Partnership for Drug Free Kids.
The drop box allows residents to safely deposit unwanted or expired medications anonymously. Bourbon Police Chief Bill Martin said getting rid of these medications can protect the environment and protect the community as it can keep them out of the hands of potential abusers.
