Monday’s update from the Indiana Department of Health showed an additional 3,005 Hoosiers who tested positive with COVID-19 between December 11 and December 12, which included 13 people in Marshall County, 10 people in Starke County and two people in Pulaski County.
Another three people in the state have died of COVID-19 from a period that spans from November 30 to December 8.
The hospital census is now up to 2,934 which is the highest number of COVID-19 patients in hospitals around the state since this time last year, according to the state’s coronavirus website.
