Two people were injured in an accident on North Michigan Street in Plymouth Thursday afternoon.
Plymouth police say a 2011 Jeep driven by 43-year-old Charlotte Kuchel of Argos was waiting to make a right turn out of a driveway on North Michigan Street when she observed a vehicle approaching with a turn signal activated. She proceeded into the roadway and struck the vehicle, according to the report. The driver of the second vehicle, 60-year-old Barry Nudd of Shreve, Ohio, reportedly told police that the signal was activated on his 2011 Ford, but he changed his mind about making the turn and turned off the signal. Nudd continued to travel northbound and was struck by Kuchel’s vehicle, according to the report.
Nudd and a passenger in his vehicle were transported to the hospital by Plymouth EMS.
The Plymouth Police Department was assisted at the scene by the Plymouth Fire Department and EMS.
