Two people were arrested Thursday, November 18 following an investigation in Marshall County.
An execution of a search warrant at North Maple Street in Argos reportedly resulted in officers confiscating over $30,000 in U.S. currency and a vehicle. Police say the residents, 28-year-old Elara Hartmann and 29-year-old Levi Chambers, were arrested on preliminary charges of dealing in marijuana, maintaining a common nuisance, and neglect of a dependent. Hartmann and Chambers have since bonded out of the Marshall County Jail after they each posted a $1,500 cash bond.
The Marshall County Drug Task Force led the operation. They were assisted by Net 43, Marshall County Sheriff’s Department, Plymouth Police Department and Argos Police Department.
Suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
