A Plymouth man was arrested Saturday, November 6 after reportedly being in possession of a stolen vehicle out of Pulaski County.
Shortly before 1:30 p.m. ET, the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department received information about a stolen vehicle in the area of Creekside Trailer Park in Lapaz, according to the report. Police say the vehicle matching the description was found there and confirmed that was the stolen vehicle. When officers attempted to make contact with someone at the residence, 41-year-old Dustin Kanschat ran out of the back door in an alleged attempt to flee.
Kanschat was eventually apprehended and taken to the Marshall County Jail. He faces a preliminary charge of possession of a stolen vehicle.
He has posted bond and was released from the Marshall County Jail.
Suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
