Over 3,700 New COVID-19 Cases Reported in the State

Another 3,767 people in the state have been diagnosed with COVID-19, including 45 people in Marshall County, six people in Starke County and five people in Pulaski County, according to Friday’s report from the Indiana Department of Health.

An additional 26 Hoosiers have died of COVID-19, including one person in Marshall County. 

The number of people with COVID-19 symptoms in hospitals around the state continues to increase.  The Indiana Department of Health’s coronavirus dashboard shows a hospital census of 1,585 Thursday, November 18.

The COVID-19 vaccine is free.  The pediatric COVID-19 vaccine is available to children 5-11.  The standard COVID-19 vaccine is available to residents 12 and older.  To learn more about the vaccine or to find a vaccination site, visit www.ourshot.in.gov.
