Over 20 people in the tri-county area have been newly diagnosed with COVID-19, according to Tuesday’s report from the Indiana Department of Health.
There were nine people in Pulaski County who tested positive with COVID-19, along with seven people in Starke County and seven people in Marshall County. They were among 2,830 people in the state who have tested positive with COVID-19.
Another 42 people in the state have died of COVID-19 from November 6 to November 15, including one person in Pulaski County.
The number of patients in hospitals around the state with COVID-19 symptoms jumped to 1,468 in Tuesday’s report. Monday’s report on the state’s coronavirus dashboard showed 1,376 people in the hospital census.
The COVID-19 vaccine is free. The pediatric COVID-19 vaccine is available to children ages 5-11 while the standard COVID-19 vaccine is available to residents 12 and older. To find the nearest vaccination site, visit www.ourshot.in.gov or call 211.
