Another 2,807 people in the state have been diagnosed with COVID-19, according to Friday’s report from the Indiana Department of Health. That total includes 41 people in Marshall County, five people in Starke County and 11 people in Pulaski County.
An additional 71 Hoosiers have died of COVID-19 between September 18 and November 11, including two people in Marshall County.
The COVID-19 vaccine is free. The pediatric COVID-19 vaccine is available to children ages 5-11 and the standard COVID-19 vaccine is available to residents 12 and older. To find the nearest vaccination site, visit www.ourshot.in.gov.
The Indiana Department of Health Strike Team will be at the Marshall County Health Department COVID-19 testing site at 2855 Miller Drive in Plymouth behind Lifeplex Saturday, November 13 from Noon to 8 p.m. ET. Drive-thru COVID-19 vaccines will be available in the primary series, children’s vaccine, and the booster doses. Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines will be offered. Additionally, rapid and PCR COVID-19 testing will be available. No appointments are needed.
