Another 16 people in Marshall County have tested positive with COVID-19, while seven more people in Starke County and six more people in Pulaski County have tested positive with COVID-19, according to Monday’s report from the Indiana Department of Health. They are among 1,914 people in the state newly diagnosed with COVID-19.
Three more people in the state have died of COVID-19.
As of Sunday, November 21, there were 1,708 people with COVID-19 symptoms in hospitals around the state. That is an increase of 332 patients from the previous Sunday.
The state’s updated school coronavirus dashboard showed 3,113 new student COVID-19 cases from July 18 to November 19, along with 197 new teacher cases from November 3 to November 19, and 284 staff cases from October 11 to November 19.
Locally, there were seven teacher cases reported at Culver Academies and five new student cases at Plymouth High School.
There were less than five new student cases reported at Culver Academies, Bremen High School, Bremen Elementary/Middle School, LaVille Junior/Senior High School, LaVille Elementary School, John Glenn High School, Urey Middle School, Walkerton Elementary School, North Liberty Elementary School, Lincoln Junior High School, Menominee Elementary School, and Webster Elementary School.
There were less than five staff cases at Culver Academies, North Liberty Elementary School, and Lincoln Junior High School.
