Another 4,080 Hoosiers have been newly diagnosed with COVID-19, including 23 people in Marshall County, nine people in Starke County and seven people in Pulaski County, according to Tuesday’s report from the Indiana Department of Health.
Over 1.1 million people in the state have tested positive with COVID-19 since March 6, 2020. The state’s coronavirus dashboard shows the number of re-infection cases totals 5,113 since September 1, 2021.
An additional 117 people in the state have died of COVID-19 between November 6 and November 29, including one person in Marshall County and one person in Starke County.
The dashboard also shows an increase of people in hospitals around the state with COVID-19 symptoms. The census showed 2,203 in Tuesday’s update.
The adult and pediatric COVID-19 vaccines and adult booster shots are available for free. Vaccination sites can be found at www.ourshot.in.gov.
