A Culver man was arrested Thursday, November 4 after police investigated an accident and suspected him to be driving a vehicle under the influence of alcohol.
The accident occurred in the area of 16C Road and Quince Road at about 9:45 p.m. ET. Officers from the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department located the driver, 51-year-old Kevin O’Brien, and they believed alcohol to be a factor in the crash, according to the report. An investigation was conducted and O’Brien was arrested on preliminary charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated with an ACE of .15 or more, and resisting law enforcement.
He has since bonded out of the Marshall County Jail.
Suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
