Argos Community School Board to Hold Public Hearing on Superintendent Contract Tonight

The Argos Community School Board members will open a public hearing concerning the extension of the superintendent’s contract when they meet tonight.  The hearing is expected to open at 7 p.m. ET followed by the school board’s regular meeting.

During their regular meeting, the school board members will review personnel changes, and an AIA document with an architect for design and engineering services.  They will consider the approval of a Classified staff appreciation grant, as well as the approval of an online surplus equipment auction. 

Transfer requests from the Operations Fund to the Rainy Day Fund will be considered, along with a transfer from the Educational Fund to the Rainy Day Fund. 

Superintendent Ned Speicher will provide an instructional report tonight. 

The Argos School Board members will meet at the Dragon Center Conference Room in the Elementary School.
