An architect presented project plans to the Argos School Board members Monday on potential updates to occur in 2022.
The school board previously reviewed a study that outlines several improvement and upgrade projects for the Argos Community School Corporation.
Superintendent Ned Speicher said the board took all of the projects under advisement.
“We are looking at our parking lots, our drainage, increasing the size of our cafeteria and remodeling it, and creating a new large group instruction room for the Elementary School for their specials like art and music. We’re also going to upgrade the band room and the auditorium. Those are the types of things we’re talking about,” stated Speicher.
Speicher previously stated that since the corporation paying off some debt, the school board could move forward with these projects without any impact to taxes.
The school board will discuss the projects more in upcoming meetings.
