The Plymouth City Council members reviewed a tax abatement request during their meeting this week for B&D Holdings, LLC, doing business as Complexus Medical.
Marshall County Economic Development Corporation President and CEO Laura Walls explained during a public hearing on the matter that Complexus Medical is requesting a seven-year real property and seven-year personal property tax abatement as the company plans to increase its medical device manufacturing capabilities. Company officials recently acquired property on Gary Drive for this venture and they plan to employ at least 10 new employees to begin with and quickly increase the labor force there.
There was no other public comment.
Following at the public hearing, the council members approved a resolution declaring certain real estate to be within an Economic Revitalization for tax abatement.
