Plymouth BPWS, City Council to Meet Tonight

The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety members will receive information from Utility Superintendent Donnie Davidson tonight about updated sewer and water standards.  Resolutions to amend the water, sanitary sewer, storm sewer and sanitary lift station construction standards will be considered following those updates.

The board members will also consider a sidewalk request and a street closure request on Center Street.

The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety will meet at 6 p.m. ET tonight followed by the Plymouth City Council meeting at 6:30 p.m. ET.

The Plymouth City Council members will open a public hearing on additional appropriations while City Attorney Sean Surrisi will bring forward a discussion of growth at the Indiana Wheel Company with the Marshall County Economic Development Corporation, and a discussion of an alley easement on Liberty Street.

An ordinance that would amend the code of ordinances concerning the personnel policy is up for consideration, as well as an additional appropriation resolution and a resolution providing for the transfer of appropriations within certain funds.

Both meetings will be held in the Council Chambers room on the second floor of the Plymouth City Building at 124 N. Michigan Street. Those interested in attending the meeting should enter the door through the Garro Street entrance.
