Over 30 New COVID-19 Cases Reported in Tri-County Area

Another 2,303 people in the state have tested positive with COVID-19 in Friday’s update from the Indiana Department of Health, which includes 19 people in Marshall County, 10 people in Starke County and eight people in Pulaski County. 

An additional 19 people in the state have died of COVID-19 from April 3 to October 14, including one person in Pulaski County. 

The number of people admitted with COVID-19 symptoms in hospitals around the state is 1,599 as of Thursday, October 14.  It is the first time the hospital census has been under 1,600 since August.

The vaccination rate in Marshall County is 48.2 percent, while it is 47.5 percent in Pulaski County and 41.6 percent in Starke County.
