Another 33 people in the tri-county area have tested positive with COVID-19, according to Friday’s report from the Indiana Department of Health. There were 23 cases in Marshall County, seven cases in Starke County and three cases in Pulaski County. They were among 1,897 people who were newly diagnosed with COVID-19 statewide.
An additional 22 people in the state have died of COVID-19, including one person in Starke County.

The state’s vaccination rate is at 57 percent, while Marshall County’s rate is up to 48.4 percent, Pulaski County’s rate is up to 47.8 percent, and Starke County’s rate is up to 41.9 percent.
