The John Glenn School Board members will hold a public hearing tonight on the tentative agreement of the Master Contract for 2021-2022 between the school board and the Teachers Association.
The tentative agreement calls for differentiated raises for teachers between $2,000 and $8,000 based on years of service and degrees. The minimum salary will be
$41,000 and maximum salary will be $76,175 for the first year. In the second year, teachers will receive differentiated raises of $700 or $775 with the minimum salary being $41,000 and maximum salary of $76,950. Two ECA positions have been added for middle school soccer and elementary year book, and the TLP portion of the contract agreement will be removed.
Additionally, the board members will approve resolutions pertaining to the adoption of the 2022 budget, Capital Projects Plan, and the Bus Replacement Plan.
The board members will also hear from patrons concerning the corporation’s mask requirement. The four building principals are also expected to present information to the board and Superintendent Christopher Winchell will provide updates.
