A flood warning is in effect for the Tippecanoe River near Ora.
The stage of the river was at 12.3 feet Wednesday morning and the flood stage is at 12.0 feet. Minor flooding is occurring. The river is anticipated to rise to a crest of 12.6 feet Thursday.
The warning is in effect until further notice.
Drivers are reminded to refrain from driving vehicles through flooded areas. The water may be too deep to allow safe passage. If barricades exist in your route of travel, turn around and seek an alternate route.
