Now that the official count day has passed for schools across the state, Argos Community School Corporation saw an increase in enrollment, according to Superintendent Ned Speicher.
Speicher commented, “We’re up really 60-some kids so that’s good news for Argos. Looking at it across the years, we’re at a 10- or 11-year high on enrollment. We’re not quite sure why but it’s always good news when enrollment goes up.”
The state’s Average Daily Membership count day was Friday, September 17. Schools receive funding based on the number of students attending a school corporation.
