The Bremen Town Council members reviewed an ordinance Monday afternoon that concerns an amendment to the yard sprinkling billing ordinance.
The amendment clarifies that property owners will be automatically billed a minimum water bill plus all water used during the summer months when watering lawns. Sprinkling charges will begin with the June 1 bill and continue through September 1. Any yard sprinkling activity after September 1 will be included on the June bill the following year.
The town council members approved the second and third readings of the ordinance, thus adopting the ordinance.
