Bremen Town Council Considers Contract for Aquatics Project

The Bremen Town Council members considered a contract with The Troyer Group last week to work on the design for the proposed aquatics project.

The idea behind the project is to improve the aging town pool and its infrastructure.

Bremen Park Superintendent Brian Main told the council members that The Troyer Group gave a scope proposal to the park board members for the preliminary designs for the upcoming aquatics project through the Marshall County Crossroads Regional Stellar Communities Initiative.

Main explained, “There’s a proposed fee of $20,700 and that would come from the match that you guys already committed to when we applied for Stellar.  The park board approved this contingent on you guys approving it and approving funding.”

The council members approved the contact with The Troyer Group and the funding with a unanimous vote.
