The Argos School Board members took action Monday night to approve resolutions concerning the 2022 budget, Capital Projects Plan and Bus Replacement Plan.
According to the notice to taxpayers on the Indiana Gateway website, the Debt Service Fund is just under $903,000, the School Pension Debt Fund is $23,000, the Education Fund is about $4.4 million and the Operations Fund is nearly $2.2 million.
The school corporation anticipates replacing one school bus this year and one school bus during years 2022 to 2024. Two buses would be replaced in 2025.
Superintendent Ned Speicher said there are the usual projects such as building improvements and attention to the sports facilities and fields in the Capital Projects Plan which lists several projects anticipated to cost over $10,000.
The resolutions for the budget, Capital Projects Plan and Bus Replacement Plan were approved with unanimous votes.
