There were 2,161 new COVID-19 cases reported in the state, according to Thursday’s report from the Indiana Department of Health. Locally, there were 25 new cases in Marshall County, nine new cases in Starke County and three new cases in Pulaski County.
Another 26 people have died statewide of COVID-19 from October 16 to October 20.
The number of COVID-19 hospitalizations has been declining. Thursday’s census was at 1,445.
Breakthrough cases have increased to 52,484 with 1,097 breakthrough hospitalizations and 531 breakthrough deaths.
