Another 30 COVID-19 cases were reported in the tri-county area with 17 new cases in Marshall County, seven in Starke County and six in Pulaski County. The state as a whole had another 1,920 newly reported cases.
Three additional people in the state have died of COVID-19 from September 8 and September 16.
The COVID-19 vaccine is available to residents 12 and older. Vaccination sites can be found at www.ourshot.in.gov.
In the updated school coronavirus dashboard on the Indiana Department of Health’s website, there were 4,499 new student cases of COVID-19 in the state from July 17 to September 17, 210 new teacher cases from August 13 to September 17, and 332 new staff cases from July 29 to September 17.
Locally, less than five student cases were reported at Jefferson Elementary School, Webster Elementary School, Bremen High School, Bremen Elementary, LaVille Jr./Sr. High School, Urey Middle School, Walkerton Elementary School, and North Liberty Elementary School.
Six cases were reported at Plymouth High School and Riverside Intermediate School while seven cases were reported at Lincoln Junior High School.
Less than five teacher cases were reported at Jefferson Elementary School, LaVille Elementary School, John Glenn High School, and North Liberty Elementary School.
Less than five staff cases were reported at Jefferson Elementary School, Urey Middle School, and Walkerton Elementary School.
