The Plymouth School Board members opened a public hearing Tuesday night concerning the proposed 2022 budget.
Corporation Treasurer Kandi Tinkey explained that the Rainy Day Fund is estimated at $600,000, the Debt Service Fund is $5,415,523, the Education Fund is at $22,291,216 and the Operations Fund is $9,008,469. The Bus Replacement Plan includes the purchase of three new buses in 2022. The budget shows $315,000 in that fund for 2022. The three-year Capital Projects Plan shows projected projects and costs which include infrastructure, technology and maintenance updates.

No members of the public were present at the Plymouth School Board’s meeting to provide comments on the budget.
The budget adoption is scheduled during the school board’s next meeting on October 5.
