The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety members will meet tonight to ratify an Executive Order to place a dumpster on East Laporte Street.
Brent Martin will present a request to reserve parking spaces, and a request concerning the Latino Festival will be considered. The board members will also hear from City Engineer Rick Gaul about the LPA construction inspection/engineering contract for the historic footbridge on Laporte Street.
Department heads will provide various updates, as necessary.
The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety will meet at 6 p.m. ET tonight followed by the Plymouth City Council meeting at 6:30 p.m.
The second and third readings on the salary ordinance for elected official will be considered. City Attorney Sean Surrisi will discuss the Veterans Parkway Extension project with the council members. He will also bring forward a Memorandum of Understanding between the City of Plymouth and Construction Management and Design, Inc.
Clerk-Treasurer Jeanine Xaver will review the 2022 budget with the council members.
An ordinance to vacate an alley within the Menominee Heights subdivision will be reviewed, as well as resolutions that would authorize the investment of public funds and an investment policy.
Both the Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety members and the Plymouth City Council will meet in the Council Chambers room on the second floor of the Plymouth City Building at 124 N. Michigan Street. Those interested in attending the meeting should enter the building through the Garro Street entrance.
