Marshall County Sheriff’s Department Provides Update in Hit-and-Run Investigation

The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department officers have provided additional information in a hit-and-run accident investigation. 

Police say the accident occurred Saturday, September 18 around 6:30 p.m. ET in the area of 1st Road and Redwood Road in Teegarden.  An older, silver SUV with a square body allegedly hit a pedestrian and continued traveling eastbound, according to the report. 

Police say the pedestrian sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene. 

A vehicle matching the description of an older model Chevy Tahoe was provided in an update by police Wednesday.  The license plate is believed to be an “In God We Trust” style plate.  The vehicle may have damage to the front passenger side or the passenger side mirror.
