The Marshall County Parks and Recreation Board members are looking for community members to be a part of the support committee for the West Township Cabin relocation and its future.
The board members are currently planning to move the West Township Trustee Cabin from its current location on State Road 17 to other property owned by West Township.
Board President Greg Hildebrand said there will need to be some fundraising at some point as not all grants will fully fund future projects or maintenance at the cabin.
Any supporters that are interesting in helping with the relocation and future projects with landscaping, labor, financial help, fundraising, planning or any other interest can reach out to the group’s Facebook page, or personally contact any member of the board. Board members include Adam Thada, Brian Main, Greg Hildebrand, Richard Markley and Deb VanDeMark.
