The 55th annual Marshall County Blueberry Festival is beginning one day earlier this year! The event will kick off Thursday, September 2 with opening ceremonies at 5 p.m. and the official opening at 6 p.m. ET.
The festival opens each day at 9 a.m. through Monday, September 6 and will feature music, rides, food and craft vendors, and sporting events.
The Little Miss and Mister Blueberry contest is Friday at 5:30 p.m. at the Michigan Street stage, and the sons and daughters of Pearl Harbor survivors will be available Sunday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. The fireworks extravaganza will take place Sunday night with the Blueberry Stomp Monday morning at 9 a.m. and the parade at 9:30 a.m. ET Monday.
Other attractions include the ABATE Blueberry Bike Show, Blueberry bicycle cruise, garden tractor pull, Silly Safari Animal show, Wheels of Agriculture Game Show, hot air balloon launches, and Plymouth Optimist pancake breakfast drive-thru Sunday morning.
The festival will conclude at 6 p.m. ET Monday night.
Trams will be operational throughout the event.
