The Bremen School Board members approved a request last week to move the destination of the high school band’s spring break music trip, according to Superintendent Dr. Jim White.
“They were going to go to New York City, but because of the vaccination requirements, they decided to go to Orlando instead so the board approved that,” stated Dr. White.
High School Principal Bruce Jennings explained to the school board that after polling students and parents, the choice was to move the trip to Orlando. They could attend music clinics and other opportunities in Orlando.
Jennings said the trip cost is anticipated to be the same and the length of time is expected to stay the same.
