Two Marshall County Traffic Stops Reportedly Lead to Four Drug Arrests

A total of four people were arrested after drugs were reportedly found during two Marshall County traffic stops. On Wednesday evening, sheriff’s deputies say they pulled over a vehicle near Linden and 7th Roads, and a police K-9 alerted them to the presence of narcotics.

A search reportedly turned up suspected methamphetamine, pills, and drug paraphernalia. On top of that, police say the driver, Buddie Krager of Elkhart, was driving without ever receiving a license with a prior conviction. Krager and a passenger, Rhonda Rose of Elkhart, were both taken to the Marshall County Jail, where officers reportedly found more suspected meth on Rose’s person.

Then on Thursday evening, deputies say they found suspected meth and synthetic cannabinoids in a vehicle they pulled over near the Speedway gas station in LaPaz. The driver, Kerri Lopez of Bremen, and a passenger, Maria McCarty of Elkhart, were booked into the Marshall County Jail on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine and a synthetic drug or look-alike substance. McCarty also reportedly had two active warrants through Marshall County.
