Another 2,726 people in the state have tested positive with COVID-19, including 12 more people in Marshall County, three people in Starke County and one person in Pulaski County, according to Tuesday’s report from the Indiana Department of Health.
An additional 29 people in the state have died of COVID-19 from August 13 to August 16.
The number of people in hospitals around the state with COVID-19 symptoms continues to rise. The census was at 1,517 people on Monday, which is the highest its been since early February.

A total of 6,056,375 doses of the vaccine have been administered to Hoosiers while 3,019,608 individuals are fully vaccinated. In Marshall County, 43.4 percent of residents are fully vaccinated, while 42.7 percent of Pulaski County residents and 37.9 percent of Starke County residents are fully vaccinated.
