The Plymouth Community School Board members considered the hire of a new principal at the Washington Discovery Academy during their meeting Tuesday night, according to Interim Superintendent Dr. Diane Woodworth.
She said Christy Haupert was unanimously approved as the new principal by the school board.
Haupert joined many of the new teachers and other staff members who were recently hired to be introduced to the school board members Tuesday night. Dr. Woodworth noted that all are ready to get the new school year started Wednesday, August 11.
