Michigan Man Accused of False Informing, Resisting Arrest following Argos Traffic Stop

A Michigan man was taken into custody following a traffic stop at an Argos gas station early Thursday morning. Marshall County sheriff’s deputies say they pulled over a motorcycle with no license plate at the BP station at Walnut and U.S. 31.

But the driver, later identified as Sean Patrick Byrne, 27, allegedly gave police a false name. When that didn’t work, police say he resisted and tried to pull away from officers. Byrne was eventually taken to the Marshall County Jail. He’s accused of false informing and resisting arrest.
