Fourteen New Cases of COVID-19 Reported in Tri-County Area

The number of COVID-19 cases in the state continues to rise while more cases are being reported locally.

Another 1,610 Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 including 11 people in Marshall County, two people in Starke County and one person in Pulaski County.

The Delta variant is the most common variant found in samples, according to the Indiana Department of Health.

Over 5.9 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in Indiana with over 2.9 million people who are fully vaccinated.  In Marshall County, 42.5 percent of the population is fully vaccinated while 42.2 percent of the population in Pulaski County is fully vaccinated.  Just over 34 percent of Starke County residents are fully vaccinated.
