Plymouth Redevelopment Commission to Meet Today

The Plymouth Redevelopment Commission members will discuss the proposed Veterans Parkway extension project when they meet tonight.  The project would extend a roadway from Michigan Road to Pioneer Drive (or Pine Road) on the north side of Plymouth.  The members are anticipated to consider an authorization for Baker Tilly to prepare a feasibility analysis for TIF 1 and for TIF 3.

The members will also review resolutions that would amend the economic development plan for the U.S. 30/Oak Road and U.S. 30 and Pine Road Economic Development Areas, and receive an update on the upcoming Hoham Drive project.

An update on the Dr. Susan Bardwell Aquatic Center is expected tonight, as well as an update on the construction of the manufacturing center, and the Centennial Crossing project.

The Plymouth Redevelopment Commission members will meet at 5:30 p.m. ET tonight in the Council Chambers Room on the second floor of the Plymouth City Building at 124 N. Michigan Street.  Those interested in attending the meeting in person should enter the building through the Garro Street entrance.  An opportunity to join the meeting online can be found here.
