The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety members will meet tonight where they are anticipated to approve a contractor for upcoming street and sidewalk work. Bids for the projects were opened during the July 12 meeting.
Fire Chief Steve Holm will ask to hire a part-time paramedic on a temporary basis, and the board members will hear from the rest of the department heads who will have reports as necessary.
The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety members will meet at 6 p.m. ET tonight followed by the Plymouth City Council meeting at 6:30 p.m. ET.
The city council members will consider an ordinance fixing salaries of appointed officers and employees, fire and personnel for 2022 on second reading. They will also review resolutions concerning separate applications of a Commercial Revitalization Rebate Program Grants for David Hamann and Dave Langdon.
Clerk-Treasurer Jeanine Xaver will also present donations from individuals or organizations toward the Latino Festival and for the Fire Department and EMS.
Both meetings will be held in the Council Chambers room on the second floor of the Plymouth City Building at 124 N. Michigan Street.
