Most Plymouth City Employees Would Get 3% Raise under Proposed Salary Ordinance

Plymouth city employees could be getting a pay raise next year. The proposed 2022 salary ordinance was presented during Monday’s city council meeting.

Clerk-Treasurer Jeanine Xaver says all employees would get a three-percent increase, except the human resources coordinator and airport manager. Their salaries would go up five percent.

There was no discussion or action on the proposed ordinance Monday. It’s expected to be up for approval later this month. A salary ordinance for the city’s elected officials will be presented at a future meeting.

The city council already approved a 1.5-percent mid-year increase for employees last month, after they weren’t given a raise at the start of the year.
