A crash involving a passenger bus and a passenger vehicle in Fulton County Monday afternoon injured four people.
The accident occurred at 1:10 p.m. ET, according to the report from the Fulton County Sheriff’s Department which you can read here, is shared by our reporting partners at WSBT-TV. Owen Hileman, 18, of Macy, Indiana, was traveling north on old U.S. 31 approaching southway U.S. 31. Police say the vehicle stopped and crossed the southbound lane entering the crossover. It proceeded to cross the northbound lane and collided with a passenger bus carrying 13 passengers driven by 64-year-old Darrell L. McCarty of Lexington, Kentucky, according to the report.
Both drivers were taken to the hospital where they were treated and released, according to the report. Two 17-year-old bus passengers were reportedly injured. Police say one was transported with unknown injuries and the other had a report of shoulder and hip pain.
