Bourbon Town Council Names Park Pavilion in Honor of Lemler Familiy

The Bourbon Park Pavilion has a new name. The town council recently passed a resolution to officially name it the Lemler Pavilion, at the recommendation of council member Terry Clemens.

“Well, it’s my position that we had a generous donation from many people, also from the Lemler family,” Clemens told the rest of the council, “and that property was originally part of the Lemler family history, and that property was donated by Wayne Lemler to the town for the park purposes.”

Clemens stressed that he didn’t want to minimize others’ donations, but wanted to recognize the historical donation of the park property.
