Twelve New Cases Reported in the Tri-County Area

Starke County had 10 new cases of COVID-19 and Marshall County had two new cases, according to Thursday’s report from the Indiana Department of Health.  There were no new cases of COVID-19 in Pulaski County. 

There were 374 additional people in Indiana diagnosed with COVID-19 in the state.  The total number of people diagnosed with COVID-19 since March 2020 is 748,259. 

Another two people have died of COVID-19 in the state which increases that total to 12,291.

Over 5.3 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in Indiana.  Over 2.6 million people are fully vaccinated, including nearly 39 percent of the population in Marshall County and Pulaski County and nearly 30 percent of the population in Starke County.
