Six New COVID-19 Cases Reported in Tri-County Area

The number of new COVID-19 cases continues to slow in state with 240 newly diagnosed patients in Tuesday’s report from the Indiana Department of Health.  There were three people in Starke County who tested positive with COVID-19, along with two people in Marshall County and one person in Pulaski County. 

Another seven people in the state have died of COVID-19 which increases the overall total number of COVID-19 deaths to 13,332. 

Residents age 12 and older are eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccine. Locations of vaccination clinics can be found at www.ourshot.in.gov or by calling 211. 

Over 5.4 million doses of the vaccine have been administered in Indiana with 2.6 million Hoosiers who are fully vaccinated.  Over 39 percent of residents in Marshall County and Pulaski County are fully vaccinated while over 31 percent of Starke County residents are fully vaccinated.
