Emergency responders were called to an accident Thursday morning in the area of North Michigan Street and Plymouth-Goshen Trail in Plymouth.
According to the Plymouth Police Department, 35-year-old Danielle Hockett of Plymouth was driving a 2014 GMC Acadia when she reportedly suffered a medical event. Police say her vehicle jumped the curb on North Michigan Street, ran into a NIPSCO utility pole, continued south, hit the outside dining area at Taco Bell, and struck an unoccupied vehicle before coming to rest.
Two children inside the vehicle were not injured.
Hockett was transported to the hospital for treatment.
The Plymouth Police Department was assisted at the scene by Plymouth Fire and EMS.
